Arnie Paler Casserole - Brenda

Corey loves this casserole!

4 T butter
1 lb. ground beef
1 tsp garlic salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 15 oz can tomato sauce
1 8 oz carton sour cream
1 8 oz carton cottage cheese
1 8 oz pkg cream cheese
3 medium sized green onions
1 8 oz pkg egg noodles

Melt 2 T butter and brown the meat in large skillet. Add garlic salt and pepper. Add tomato sauce and simmer for 20 min, stirring occasionally.

Mix sour cream, cottage cheese and cream cheese together in a bowl. Add finely chopped green onions to cheese mixture.

Cook egg noodles. Drain and mix the remaining 2 T butter .

In a 9x13 pan, put a layer of meat on the bottom, followed by a layer of noodles, then a layer of cheese mixture. Repeat layers ending with a layer of meat sauce.

Bake uncovered at 350° for approximately 45 minutes
