Cream Cheese Brownies - A Pinch of Salt Lake Cookbook

1 pkg Betty Crocker Super Moist German Chocolate Cake Mix

3 eggs

1 1/3 cup water

1/3 cup veg oil

1 8 oz pkg cream cheese, softened

1 egg

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 cup milk chocolate chips


Heat oven to 350. Grease and flour jelly roll pan

Mix cake mix, eggs, water and oil Blend on low for 30 seconds, then on medium speed for 2 min.

Pour into jelly roll pan.

Mix together cream cheese, egg, sugar and choc chips. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto batter. Cut through batter with knife for marbles effect. Sprinkle with additional chocolate chips and chopped nuts if desired.


Bake 25-30 min. or until cake springs back when touched lightly in center. Cool
