1 Tbsp flour
1 Tbsp corn starch
1/4 tsp salt
1 1/2 cup milk
1 beaten egg yolk
1 tsp vanilla

Mix first 4 ingredients in a large saucepan and gradually stir in milk. Cook and stir until thickens and boils. Stir hot mix into egg yolk to heat up yolk, without cooking yolk.
