Rigatoni

Stef's mom's recipe. We served this for lunch with some garlic bread and salad after Kayla graduated from SBHS!

1 lb box rigatoni
1 bottle favorite pasta sauce
1 can finely chopped tomatoes
1 can tomato sauce (if needed for more moisture)
1 lb Italian sausage
8 oz mozzarella grated
1 1/2 tsp basil, 1/4 tsp pepper and some garlic (optional)
green onions for top (optional)

1. Cook sausage and add pasta sauce, tomatoes and tomato sauce. Cook pasta (drain)

2. In 9x13 pan, layer sauce, pasta, ending in sauce. Top with cheese and sprinkle with chopped green onion (optional)

3. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes or until hot. If it has been refrigerated bake for 1 hour without cheese and add cheese and bake 1/2 hour more.
