Beef Stew - Deanna Sumsion, Mom

¼ cup flour
1 ½ tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1 to 2 pound stew meat
1 ½ cup water
1 Tsp Worcestershire sauce
2 beef bouillon cubes or beef soup base
1 bay leaf
1 cup corn
1 onion, diced
3 tomatoes, skinned and diced or (1 can diced tomatoes, not drained.)
2 potatoes, peeled and cubed
1 cup green beans
2 carrots, peeled and sliced
2 stalks celery, sliced

Combine flour, salt, and pepper in a zip lock plastic bag. Put stew meat in bag with
flour mixture and coat thoroughly, then place in Crockpot. Add rest of ingredients to
pot, vegetable choices as desired. Stir.

Cook on high, 4-6 hours or on low 8-10 hours. Do not lift lid while cooking, unless
necessary.
