Easy Focaccia Bread - Deanna

3 cups flour
1-2/3 cups warm water
2 Tablespoons Sugar
1-1/2 teaspoons salt
1⁄4 teaspoon yeast

In a medium bowl, mix all ingredients together until flour is just moistened. Cover tightly
and let sit out at room temperature for 12 to 24 hours.

To prepare for baking, resist the temptation to stir and just carefully pour dough out onto
a greased cookie sheet. Spread dough with a rubber spatula to 3⁄4 inch thickness. (It
doesn’t need to be spread to the sides of the cookie sheet, rather, spread into a
somewhat rectangle/circle/oval shape. Drizzle about 2 Tablespoons olive oil over the
dough and then sprinkle on simple herbs (like rosemary or sage) with course salt. You can
also try sprinkling on Parmesan cheese, or place black or green olives, thin tomato slices,
etc. onto the dough.

Let rise for 15-20 minutes. Bake at 450 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
