Waffle Bar (or Blood Waffles by Kristen)

Warren and Tina served these at their friend's children's weddings.
Make 8 batches of Blood Waffles for 175 people

Recipe for 1 batch:


2 eggs (separated)
2 Cups whole milk
1 stick butter (melted)
2 Cups flour
1 TBSP baking powder
1 TBSP cornstarch (don’t add if you are making pancakes)
1 tsp salt
1 TBSP sugar
A little vanilla or other flavor if desired


Beat the egg whites until very stiff
Mix the yolks and milk together
Sift the dry ingredients together
Mix the dry ingredients and milk/yolk mixture just until incorporated. It will still be lumpy.
Mix in the butter and vanilla. Don’t overwork the mixture.
Fold in the egg whites.


Nutella & Cream drizzle


One 33.5 oz. jar of Nutella
Heavy whipping cream


Mix the Nutella and cream with a hand mixer.  Add cream until the desired consistency is reached. Should end up with about 4 to 6 cups. Pour into two 32-oz. squeeze bottles.
