Scalloped Potatoes

Grandma Neet's recipe.

2 quarts think-sliced pared potatoes (about 8 medium)
1/4 cup minced onion
1 101/2 ounce can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 cup milk
2 tsp salt

In greased 11x7 inch pan or 2 quart casserole dish...

Alternate layers of potatoes and onion. Combine remaining ingredients, dash pepper; pour over. Cover and bake at 350° for 45 minutes. Uncover and bake 20 to 30 minutes longer or till potatoes are tender. Serves 8.
