Beef Stroganoff (Crockpot)

Amy Hall says this is her kids' favorite.

Cubed beef (super cheap in the meat section)
1 cube butter
dried onion
Lawrey's seasoning: Onion salt, Garlic Salt, Accent Salt
Freshly ground pepper
Sour Cream (not low fat)
Kitchen Bouquet (browning seasoning and sauce, found in the BBQ sauce aisle)

1. Dice up the beef a bit smaller so that it will become more tender. Coat in flour.  Melt butter in large skillet and add the coated beef cubes and some dried onion.

2. Add A LOT, like way more than you normally would of the Lawrey's seasonings and fresh ground pepper.

3. After the meat is browned, fill the pan with water, covering the meat. Add 1 to 2 cups sour cream. Whisk until smooth.

4. Add a few Tablespoons Kitchen Bouquet and whisk. Add more until gravy is brown and looks like gravy.

5. Make up some corn starch and water mixture to thicken, whisk until desired thickness. (I skipped this step and mine was thick enough with just the flour I had used to coat the meat) Be sure to taste. May need to add more seasonings and salt. If it is too salty, add a bit more sour cream to tone it down.

6. Crock pot on low for 3 hours.

Serve over white rice.
